These are my parents.  They've been married almost 47 years.  As I write this they're zooming around Epcot at Walt Disney World in Florida, having the time of their lives. Mom gave me her password so I could access their My Disney Experience account.  That's how I stole this picture from their Memory Maker/PhotoPass account.  Aren't they cute?

I've loved all things Disney for as long as I can remember.  People always ask me why my family goes to Disney World (or on Disney vacations) so much, and and I just shrug and say, "It really makes me happy.  It is my happy place!"

I remember going to Disney as a child a couple of times, and I grew up watching Disney movies, but it was my honeymoon 20 years ago that made me fall in love with Disney World.  It was magical; I thought it was the best honeymoon ever. Disney really knows how to make honeymoons magical.  I will never forget it!

My husband, Stan, and I took our oldest two children Camryn (now 17) and Aiden (15) on their first trip to the World in 2002.  I cried when my daughter first rode the Monorail and my son got a kiss from Cinderella.  I have so many fond memories of that trip.  Over the years we had 2 more children (Quinn, 13, and Lillian, 11) and have been back to Disney World as a family of 6 many times.  It really never gets old, because Disney is always adding something new for people to enjoy, and we always make magical memories. The minute I walk onto Main Street and catch a whiff of the goodies at the Confectionery, I feel like I've come home.  My kids roll their eyes at me, but they love it just as much as I do.

A few years ago we took our first Disney cruise. It was a 5-day sailing aboard the Dream, and we were hooked. We'd cruised on other lines and had a good time, but Disney just does things so perfectly that the experience didn't even compare. Their commitment to excellence makes every trip magical. We tried a longer (7-day) trip on the Disney Fantasy a year after that first cruise; my husband planned it all (with the help of our travel agent) as a Christmas surprise for me. We swam with dolphins! The kids loved it so much that they repeatedly ask when we're sailing with Disney again.

We have also stayed at Disney's Hilton Head Resort in our home state of South Carolina. If you've never visited, I highly recommend it. Hilton Head is a beautiful town, and only a short drive from Savannah, Georgia.

As you can see, I love talking about Disney to anyone who will listen, so it was only natural that I start helping others plan their dream Disney vacations.  I get so excited planning my own trips, and I want to make others' Disney trips magical as well!  I decided to start this blog as a companion to my travel business.  I hope you find some good information here.  Feel free to comment with questions, and I'll try hard to answer them!
